Sands and kaolinitic clays

SOKA's extra-siliceous, high-purity, natural sands (95% mini SiO2) are light grey in colour and are obtained after various washing and screening operations (no crushing). A range of grain sizes, 0/1mm, 0/2mm, 0/4mm, 0.6/1.6mm and 2/6mm can be used for many industrial applications:

• sands for concrete, mortar, asphalt, plaster, masonry work, in compliance with standard NF P 18-545;
• filter sand for non-collective sewerage networks in compliance with DTU-64-1;
• sands for creating or sandblasting sports fields (football, rugby, beach volleyball, golf, etc.);
• sands for equestrian activities;
• sands for market gardening;
• decorative sands. 

Our raw kaolins and our AK S3 kaolinitic clay are rich in alumina and are used to make white cements.

Kaolin is an impermeable material used for soil treatment, the creation of waste disposal, and also as waterproof sealants in water reserves.
